Green Tea

Green tea is a type of tea made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant, the same plant used to produce black tea, oolong tea, and white tea. which helps to preserve its natural antioxidants and other beneficial compounds.

To produce green teas, freshly harvested tea leaves are quickly heated or steamed to halt the oxidation process. This step prevents the leaves from turning brown and helps to retain their vibrant green colour. After heating, the leaves are rolled and dried, resulting in the distinctive appearance and flavour profile characteristic of green tea.
